This is not really in the weeds;

Just want to say a public Thank You to BB Bill for ALL that he does here  --  much of those efforts are behind the scenes,  but very much for the good of the community.

Of course  Bill is very,  very helpful in giving Engineering-based advice,  that we all can see,  and admire!

Thanks,  too,  to Northern Arizona Wind & Sun for hosting this great,  and informative Forum,   and also for being an honest, well informed Customer Friendly company to deal with.

    +1 here.  Thank you Bill "keeper of the peace" B.    Seems what you have needed to do recently would in no way be enjoyable

    As to NAWS, I regularly recommend them to my solar customers.

    2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

    Absolutely great @BB. - He and just about everyone else on this board is great. Helpful, considerate, and knowledgeable. What was damaged has been repaired!!
    Off-grid cabin: 6 x Canadian Solar CSK-280M PV panels, Schneider XW-MPPT60-150 Charge Controller, Schneider CSW4024 Inverter/Charger, Schneider SCP, 8S (25.6V), 230Ah Eve LiFePO4 battery in a custom insulated and heated case.

    For the most part a moderators task is a thankless one, the display of support for Bill is a direct reflection of the time, effort and most of all patience (the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like)

    Yep me too with the atta boys for BB!  And as for NAWS one of the best in the business IMHO after several dealings with them.  

    I was throughly surprised earlier this summer when NAWS had panels in stock with very close specs to replace 4 that had some sort of damage to my 72 panel array install over 7 years ago.  A quick drive to Flagstaff kept the install team from stopping the roofing project.

    Oh, puhleeze! Any person canonized by the church, at least in the last 5-600 years, can't even begin to hold a candle to Bill, in patience or otherwise.*

    *This post might contain some slight hyperbole, but not much.
    DoD= depth of discharge= amount removed from that battery   SoC= state of charge= amount remaining in that battery
    So, 0% DoD= 100% SoC, 25% DoD= 75% SoC, 50% DoD= 50% SoC, 75% DoD= 25% SoC, 100% DoD= 0% SoC
    A/C= air conditioning AC= alternating current (what comes from the outlets in your home) DC= direct current (what batteries & solar panels use)
