Amazing isn't it? They also "copy" Victron charge controllers and probably many other products. I'd be interested in seeing a head to head comparison of this FM 80 and the real thing, performance and quality.

2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

Even the 2" lcd is visibly exactly like the real thing. I have the Victron version. You would think the OEM's would blow a gasket seeing their products copied like this.

I remain convinced the Fangpusun versions ARE OEM Victron, just re-badged. NOT copies - like that'd EVER happen.

Well besides the Victron copies, Fangpusun also has exact copies of Outback products and Xantrex inverters. I doubt they are rebadged and ALL coming out of the OEM factory.

At least they aren't trying to pass their products off as genuine.  Providing they aren't infringing on patented or copywritten IP, good on em.  Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and all that.

That said, my Chenglish isn't great, and IMHO the practicality of enforcing a warranty or product liability claim is dubious, so I'd personally take a pass.

The question was do Fangpusun make controllers for Outback
Reply, No we just copy Outback, Steca and Victron.................................There was some other mumbo-jumbo about lower prices as well.
