No. They are designed to work only with Solar Edge Grid Tie inverters.

2.1 Kw Suntech 175 mono, Classic 200, Trace SW 4024 ( 15 years old  but brand new out of sealed factory box Jan. 2015), Bogart Tri-metric,  460 Ah. 24 volt LiFePo4 battery bank. Plenty of Baja Sea of Cortez sunshine.

Are there any optimizers (Solar Edge or Tigo or Others) that can be used in off-grid applications? With or without inverters?

    Thank you.

Tigo optimizers work in off grid systems.

There is info out there, just didn't feel right posting other retailers info here. Look them up.

    Thank you very much.

I emailed TIGO and they gave me information on optimization off-grid.

Does anyone have any experiences using them? Do they truly address shading concerns? Do they really increase effeciency?

I am looking to use them on 14x Mission Solar Panels 360 MONO using a Schneider Electric MPPT80, and Schneider Electric XW+ 5548, to LiPO 48v Batteries.

    Thank you again.

TIGO  optimizers can only masks the effects of shade, they don't make a fully lit panel any more efficient,

Say that you can sometimes optimize by 2% to 13% (see reference) over bypass diodes - usually less. I'd like to see an economic analysis that shows this is worthwhile (vs just adding more panels).
