Optimal time for Equalization

Last time I did it in well into Float with an external charger. Got a "vibe" that my timing was off.

Isn't it best to Equalize some time in Absorb? Photowit does this procedure every month - hope he is around.
First Bank:16 180 watt Grape Solar with  FM80 controller and 3648 Inverter....Fullriver 8D AGM solar batteries. Second Bank/MacGyver Special: 10 165(?) watt BP Solar with Renogy MPPT 40A controller/ and Xantrex C-35 PWM controller/ and Morningstar PWM controller...Cotek 24V PSW inverter....forklift and diesel locomotive batteries

    IMO, when to equalize is best determined by measuring how unequal it is.

    Would suggest EQing FLA batteries  at the very end of Absorb,  or just after Float begins,   as recommended by a number of FLA manufacturers.
