any good ones coming out ,sine, that are cheaper..??? its about the time ..... Also is there a good lug crimper for 6 awg and bigger that fits
in a manual 12 ton press..the car jack presses...

    I've been using a HF hydraulic crimper.. Looks like the price went up since I bought mine. Google for coupons!

    I was using a hammer crimper in my bench press. Something about beating on wires just did not do it for me. The problem with the bench press is mobility. I've crimped a lot of ends on battery cables in cars. Removing the cables to take them to the press was a pain in the behind.

    I haven't used (or even seen this) but I've found most if not all tools from harbour freight servicable.
    Home system 4000 watt (Evergreen) array standing, with 2 Midnite Classic Lites,  Midnite E-panel, Magnum MS4024, Prosine 1800(now backup) and Exeltech 1100(former backup...lol), 660 ah 24v Forklift battery(now 10 years old). Off grid for 20 years (if I include 8 months on a bicycle).
    - Assorted other systems, pieces and to many panels in the closet to not do more projects.

    i'm not sure if something like this is what you had in mind or not, but many hammer types can be put into a vice or press.

    The manual hammer crimper works great. Not quite as easy to use as a hand crimper, but it works great.

    As for HF stuff,, the operative word there is,,serviceable.
