All I can find is headlines. I apparently never made a post with a headline about employing the Cotek.

If I knew how long the last one lasted I would have a better idea about when to mostly retire the replacement Cotek. Four freezers of food is not a small loss.

I think it was about 4 years ago?

Was a bit surprised to find that. Cheap Mexican tequila perhaps?

I did a Cotek search yesterday and failed to find my previous posts. It only showed threads where Cotek was mentioned in the title. Unsure why entering my profile failed to help. Simple mistake I’m sure.

The Cotek lasted for close to a decade. Operated four small/medium freezers for the past 4-5 years. So it did great all things considered.

Had a power outage alarm on that circuit. The 9V battery was stone cold dead. Even if one invested in an outage alarm with rechargeable batteries - that may not last more than a few to several years.

I just wrote 2025 on the case of the alarm - with a suggested battery replacement date.
