    What size are the batteries ?   2v 400ah ?   6V 200ah ?    12V 100ah ?
The factory data will show what the batteries can safely deliver.  Lead acid batteries can supply
thousands of amps for a couple seconds,  hundreds of amps for a couple minutes, and a couple of amps for dozens of hours.
Excess current draw from a battery ( like shorted with a wrench ) can damage the battery, or even cause an internal steam explosion from rapid heating of the electrolyte.

It's not really a complete question, even knowing the battery.

First you have 4 - 6volt batteries in series for 24 volt. In series the volts add and the amps remain the same.

You can go to your manual and see that the batteries are rated at 390 ah total at a 20 hr discharge.
That would be 1/20th of 390ah or about 19.5 amps per hour. If you wanted to pull more amps your manual will help.

As you use more than 1/20th of the capacity, the effective capacity is smaller.

In the end, the battery doesn't produce amps, rather it stores them...
