Is it worth getting this? I have a Suresine and 15amp Sunsaver mppt charge controller on our bunkhouse system and am thinking of a battery replacement to rolls surrette 12 volt battery. The battery requires a 14.7-15 volt absorption setting and the Sunsaver is preset to 14.4volt. I looked at the Morningstar site and found the MSView software examples and it did not list the parameter or adjustment range. I am almost tempted to buy a different controller, I am more of a trim pot and voltmeter guy. How hard is it to navigate MSView? Any easy suggestions?

There are a couple of non-intuitive tricks, but it is worth it to be able to configure the controller and extract any recorded data, I think it only runs on windows

Morningstar MSVIEW allows for infinite adjustment, the software is easy to navigate and tech support is excellent, should there be any questions, I would highly recommend getting one to achieve  custom settings,  Morningstar controllers are an excellent product so keep it.

All right guys I will give it a try, looks like I could view what's going on in the Suresine also. I hope I do not need internet connection, that could get tricky at the cabin with the laptop.

Internet not needed.  Use their adapter.  Clones often are missing critical parts and don't follow the standards. MorStar DOES follow the standards and knock-offs don't work
