So my XW4024 is showing 2green lights but the CC is showing 24.4V.  Why is it so different?  It is a snowstorm power is out and it is 29 degrees.  Also our 4.5KW system 18 250w panels has been producing .5KW for the last month and a half.  I’m thinking some fuses are bad at the panels.  Installer will not return my calls.  Thanks for the help.

The two led on indicates between 23.8 and 24.6 volts so 24.4V is within this range. The production will reflect useage, the batteries will only accept what's needed any excess is wasted, the 0.5Kw seems very low however, or is it 5Kw? Snow storm, cloudy weather short days, unknown loads   ..............too many variables and not enough information to hazard a guess.

If you have a generator, when you are able to comfortably do so, start it up and see if the batteries are taking a hefty charge after half an hour .
0.5 kwh daily harvest seems quite low, unless the panels are covered in snow and ice.

Do you have a combox or SCP to view logs of the system ?

Yes we have an SCP and I have been tracking it for 2 months same .5kw doesnt matter if its a crystal clear day or cloudy and raining.  Same time last year we were producing over 150kw per those 2 months now 52kw for Oct and 23kw for Nov.

Assuming you have pv string breakers (wired as 9 strings of 3?), you could try opening all the breakers, then close them one at a time to test each string individually.

I'd turn the controller off when opening/closing to avoid doing so with much current flowing.  If it's fuses, I'd cover the panels with a blanket or something as well.

Also "the CC is showing 24.4v" implies a single controller?  4.5kw seems like a lot of pv for a single controller.

Following on from post #6, does the CC have an internal cooling fan, and if so, is it coming on?  I'm wondering if maybe the CC is limiting output because it's getting too hot?
