Conext 4024 won't power up

Connected up my new conext 4024 to 24 volt battery bank at 24.5 volt. All three front lights come on, the fan starts up then the unit shuts down!
any ideas out there

Do you also have it on AC input power?    When you turn it on,  are there also AC loads on the inverter.  24.5v resting for a battery bank is kinda low.  At 24.5v Open Circuit voltage you are already at 60% SOC.  Once loads are applied it might be going lower than the LBCO for the inverter.  I would start by checking the LBCO setting.  Do you have the System Control Panel (SCP) and/or a combox.  If not you are at the mercy of ALL defaults for SW and I have found most defaults are off.

I have my LBCO set to 22.2v and my delay set to 55 seconds so that a large momentary load (think pump motor surge) will not trigger an inverter shutdown.

What is the DC voltage on the input terminals to the Inverter as it powers up?

Good size battery bank, short/heavy/bolted cables needed for DC power. For example, automotive jumper cables generally do not make good enough connections to start up any good sized inverter.

Try disconnecting all AC loads before powering up, eg. main AC breaker off, 24.5V could indicate a low state of charge, check battery voltage at the DC input during start up see if it sags.  What battery capacity do you have, has the SW4024 been configured with a SCP or Combox or just defaults?.

Was the battery at rest when you read 24.5 volts or was it charging off a solar array?
