Argh, the last few days, my logging has been squirrely and incomplete. I found the uSD card in the combox was corrupted and reformatted it, Reinstalled the same card and rebooted the combox, and tonight, got
Internal Memory Full - Directories: nand:0:\Energy\2015\08.nand:0:\2015\08. Purged.
    ??
So a quick google gives me:
Why has my Combox stopped logging system energy graphs?
Energy graphs are stored in the Combox's internal memory. Older firmware would cause the Combox to quit logging once internal
memory was full. Uprading the firmware of the Combox will allow the data to "wrap", allowing the oldest data to drop off, making room for more data.
The latest Combox firmware can be uploaded to a thumb drive from our website.

    I'm running
    Application Version Ver02.01BN0673
    Application Build Date 2014-09-19_10-40-25
and the latest version is now

apparently this is fatal, and they asked for proof of purchase to ship me a new one. :(

You can download a script that will clear and reset the cache. You can save the data first from memory. There is another script so be aware that will reset back to factory which will wipe all of your settings. This same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, reset internal memory logging all is happy. No ComBox change out. Tech support said it was a bug in code. Code should do FIFO with the files, purge the oldest to make room for new logs. Should be corrected with next firmware update whenever that is?
Under tech pubs for the ComBox on the Schneider site reset logs script!!

I've tried the script, and hope it works, the results file says the right things happened. Just waiting a day now to see if it's working.
    Thanks for the tip SkiDoo55

Let us know, worked fine on mine, glad I got a tech rep that knew what to do. Been pretty lucky with support so far. He said it is nothing wrong with the hardware was a code bug that got out in last firmware. Is scheduled to be fixed in next release when ever that will be. I had about 3 years of energy data on mine. Though it was supposed to hold 5 but guess not! Another feature should (mentioned by tech) be ability to record it to the micro SD card.

yes, the reset script worked, I am happy again. But there is a replacement in the mail, and I was sent a return postage label, so I'll test them both for a bit, before sending one back.

I hope you can help. I am about to buy a Conex Combox but the part number I require, 865-1058, seems to be very hard to get. There are a other part numbers for the combox eg 809-0918 that is more readily available. Is it a firmware difference and is the firmware interchangeable?

I wish I could help you but I just don;t know, Schneider told me they were different on the phone.

A new ComBox firmware release on the Schnieder site.  Haven't flashed mine yet, been busy.
They also have a new script tool to clear the internal memory with instructions for users that are getting a internal memory full error.  Maybe the new firmware might take care of that.  Hope they put the ability in to log energy etc to external card?

They are available from the store here. The more expensive model 865 1058 is what you want for an XW or SW.  The other model is for the marine world and would be a mistake to buy as the firmware is different!

If its just a firmware change buy the cheaper box and flash it, what is the issue with doing that?

So the schneider tech was correct, the xw needs the correct part number to work.

Thanks for the replies. I did buy one of these but had to have it shipped to a friend in New York who was then sending it to me in the UK with an MPPT 80 600. I'd asked him to put it within the MPPT box but in his wisdom he didn't and despite me having only ordered on parcel for collection the courier took the two saying it was ok. It was never seen again and because I had only ordered one collection the courier wont pay out as one was delivered- good old DHL. I can't seem to find them in the UK and no one want to send one from USA and if the do they want a ridicules amount to do it.

There is another version of the combos firmware uploaded at the Schneider site. There also appear to be a couple updates posted for the CSW, AGS, BattMon that I haven't seen before, although the dates indicate they are not totally new.

Combox is up to 3.03 BN 830 at: ComBox Firmware VER 3.03 BN 830

    You want
    and
and under FIRMWARE  you want to have the latest for you box.
After you backup your data, the firmware update may fix all the issues,

And get a microSD card for the box.  That's how I do the backups

Pay attention to EVERY Word in the doc for the scripts,  The wording and sequence is not consumer friendly,
    these are technical documents.

I don't know any way to capture / save the existing data unless you do each one manually (painful)

Combox for Freedom SW is not the same as Combox for XW and CSW. I do not believe there is a way to get this to work correctly.
Combox for XW & CSW is model 865-1058 and is for renewable energy inverters. Your is for Marine Inverters.
