Where to find conduit for long buried wire run (HDPE)

Options
Does anyone know where you can purchase and have shipped HDPE conduit?(or where to check locally for someplace that may carry it)  I've previously used 200' of HDPE that I was able to pick up locally but they no longer provide that.  I now need some 2" HDPE for a 500' run.  Some that I've checked have large minimum order.  I do not wish to use PVC.

Does your local supply house carry it ?  Or the OTHER supply house ?   Then it's off to Google to find your fix.

    Hi Dave,

You have probably dealt with HDPE Conduit in the past.

2" HDPE  will ship on a fairly large reel,   and need to be shipped via Motor Freight (Truck).

Your local Electrical Supply house could probably order if in,   cut to your required length.   It might be stocked by very large supply houses in major Metro areas.

It is not commonly used around here except for large projects.   But I do not get out much ...

    Good Luck,   Vic

Have you considered ACWU or Teck cable, easy to install, ground included, unlimited bends, no pulling of conductors, quick instalation, armored wrap offers some induction protection from lightning, these  are a few of the advantages, price wise mostly you are paying for the copper or aluminum value, labor costs if, applicable, will offset the price differance. Just an idea FWIW.

Thanks.  I looked at the Teck cable but it looks like it only comes in minimum 3 conductor with ground.  I only need 2 conductors with ground for the PV arrays.

I've found one supply place that can ship to me.  My main concern is gophers hence the reason for some protection on the cables before I bury them.
