My charge controller was putting out high voltage.

I noticed when opening cabin early AM after being gone all week the prostar mppt was putting 15.2 volts at 2A to the battery bank. Battery's showed 100% full. Charger setup absorp14.7v, float 13.5v. Was blinking as if in float stage. Controller seemed to work fine rest of weekend. Should I try to contact manufacturer for defective charger?

Do you have it setup for auto equalizing?

Does it have a Temp sensor built in or remote?  Cold = higher volts while charging...

You could check temp compensation setting in controller vs battery recommended. Sounds like a high comp for that temp - I would have thought <1v higher. Maybe the CC had just come off absorb and voltage hadn't settled to float?
    Off-grid.
