Well one of the joys of Solar is clearing your panels on those snowy morning.

Sun popped out so it was time for me to go clear the panels, of course it started snowing again as I started...lol

Only 2 of the top panels are attached and I only had tennis shoes on, I'd want my pac's or some boots on since to clear the top panels I have to stand where the snow slides off. 15 degrees and dry snow, it was a quick job.

I was rewarded as the sun just popped back out!
Home system 4000 watt (Evergreen) array standing, with 2 Midnite Classic Lites,  Midnite E-panel, Magnum MS4024, Prosine 1800(now backup) and Exeltech 1100(former backup...lol), 660 ah 24v Forklift battery(now 10 years old). Off grid for 20 years (if I include 8 months on a bicycle).
- Assorted other systems, pieces and to many panels in the closet to not do more projects.

I Just thought that in the dry snow area if a leaf blower (gas type) would work?
I ruled out an electric one since it would deplete the battery... unless you have a portable 1000W gen set

My 3' broom works for that type of snow. My area is prone to initially melting the snowfall. Tenacious ice results.
