    Hard to beat Baja California in winter. I use to love Conception bay and the islands in the Sea.
     Arizona and New Mexico were favorites then but cold at night....

    If you wanna do SOLAR off-grid, then go where the SUN is.  Otherwise just use a generator and call it a day... it's still off-grid and gets the job done... there's whole chucks of the USA and the rest of the world that get 90% sun year-round
