I just read the article on Jay leno wind turbine. Where can i find out more about rare earth element magnet use to generate electricity for wind. Any which mfg. make permanent magnets using rare earth elements ? for the home user or small wind farm.

EYEBALL CAUTION : The super magnets are VERY powerfull, and Extremely brittle. If you lose one, it WILL fly to metal or another magnet, and shatter into glasslike shards. Don't let your skin or eye get in the way.

Ohio is not that bad for wind , except where i live. This research is more for friends who live in south america. Planning on going down their to install alternative energy - wind , solar.
