Just wanted to put a feeder out to see if there is a market for these types of batteries.

I have about a 100 of them a year old, they have been online we had them replaced this month due to Gov. Compliance. Regs.

It would be a hard 'sell' to get someone to buy a used battery that weighs 70 lbs (assuming you mean 100 Ah rather than watts). If there's a problem, what's a buyer to do? ship it back? New they are $150-170, So you might try to get 1/2 that used, then ship it?

There are some local battery shops that might try to put them up for sale. In many states lead acid batteries sell for pretty good money for weight. You won't get rich, but 25-30 cents a pound...

Home system 4000 watt (Evergreen) array standing, with 2 Midnite Classic Lites,  Midnite E-panel, Magnum MS4024, Prosine 1800(now backup) and Exeltech 1100(former backup...lol), 660 ah 24v Forklift battery(now 10 years old). Off grid for 20 years (if I include 8 months on a bicycle).
    - Assorted other systems, pieces and to many panels in the closet to not do more projects.

Most likely these are used telcom UPS batteries with limited deep cycle capability.     AND it's highly unlikely they have been maintained for the last year sitting unused. So they are mostly trash for off grid use,  They might have a cycle or 3 left in them.
