Has anybody used one of these?

Good morning forum folks. I just recently came across this charge controller on eBay and was curious if anybody has any experience with one. I realize it is inexpensive and imported, (red flag), but after reading about it , it looks like a different creature than your typical cheap imported charge controller. While I would question it's MPPT functionality it appears to have DC to DC step up - step down ability.  Interesting that it's maximum voltage input is 60 volts and it's max output is up to 90 volts and claims to be able to charge 24/36/48/60 and 72 volt banks.....Comments?   Link below.

I doubt that any country could make an MPPT controller for $34 in components and ship it from China to your door.

Might I suggest that you run the other way! ;)

A 10A MPPT controller would generally not require a fan,  No battery temperature sensor, but the  paint is green

Yes, Mike, but its a pretty green.

10A? and 60v input max... any modern, normal house-sized panel would be around 35v and close to 8A output... near maxing out this controller. So if that's all you need, then its not much to risk... but I think most people would want a bit more power than that to be really useful, unless you are only running small ancillary devices and not true household appliances.  Very limited utility.
