The requirement is for remote telecom application

current scenario

There will be two generator (complete off grid) each run twelve hours a day to take care of 3500w load (combination of 230Vac and -48Vdc load)

Attachment not found.

if i stop the generator the the ipms battery bank will take care of -48 Vdc load

but the AC load will be off

i am searching a solution for it

()

Can i use conext XW 4548 with a positive grounded battery bank?

if so how can i do that?

or any other inverter can function at -48Vdc

Thanks in advance

I don't know about + gnd battery bank, but why can't the 4548 inverter/charger, actually invert and provide the 3500w AC too ?

And I'd throw in at least one more generator, because you are going to be running those 2 into the dirt really quick. The $300 big box store generators have a 500 hour design life, you should be looking at a small water cooled diesel, I think Yamar engines are used in them. Kubota makes one (7Kw) too.

The isolated power modules(IPMS) is a charger with a battery bank (which is positive grounded).

i don't want additional battery bank ,since the battery bank inside ipms is sufficient for me.

i just want an inverter which should operate at -48v dc

Try this and see if it suits you. Ck with Schneider customer service if in doubt about a XW.

Just be careful with any I/O (communications, RS 232, RS 422, i/o ports). They will usually be referenced to the negative battery bus voltage (i.e., that will be "signal ground"). If you connect to external/other equipment--The shifted "positive" ground can blow wiring between devices with mix positive/negative grounds.

Some interfaces, like 10/100/1,000 BaseT Internet, are (usually) transformer isolated interfaces and a good way to communicate between positive and negative ground referenced devices.

How do you program it? The Combox or SystemControlPanel run off the Xanbus. I don't know if it is isolated or not.
