Bus bar calculation steps

Dear all.

I am new to designing bus bar calculation. can you suggest list of point tobe considered while designing of bus bar. Where i can get step by step procedure construction.

I have one bus bar in what way it get affected with temperature. how can we measure effect of temperature on bus bar.

    Way too much work to calculate temperature effects on copper bus bar. Using common charts, you can find what size (cross section) is needed for your power usage. If worried, go one step larger and you should be fine.

    Measuring bus bar temperatures is conveniently done with a multimeter that has a temperature probe. Or, you can use an infrared pointing thermometer, which may be more convenient. If your bus bar is too hot, even though you have designed it correctly, it could be an indication of a weak / loose / corroded connection from the battery terminal to the bus bar itself.
