So, today seems to be a stressful day for the grid planners. Will they keep the power on ?

    Heard on CNBC that there was a 6 hour outage in NJ yesterday.

    ISO New England looked like they were covered when I checked it an hour ago. Of course anytime the system is ramped up, that is usually when marginal components stop working, so I would expect that there will be equipment related outages. Generally as long as the grid operators have some notice, they can call in some additional plants to be on line.
