    Did not know I need extra electronics to drop their current when panels get dirty. :)

    They are avoiding the toughest issue, providing the 120 Hz power profile filter. Sounds like a per-panel boost switcher with a maximum voltage cap of 350-400 vdc so you can put all the panels on a high voltage parallel feed line. Does have some merit if you have a shading problem but pretty expensive way to get shading loss reduction.
