MT50 question

Hi apologies for my ignorance but I'm after some advice about the MT50 please. I'm hoping this is normal operation and I'm worrying about nothing. The little arrows from the panel to the battery (charge display?) have stopped since plugging the van into mains at a camp site a few days ago. I can't seem to fine any info on normal operation. Can anyone advise?

There is no load on thr battery, 12.7V represents a fully charged 12V battery at rest, try applying a load and see what  happens, as the voltage drops the PV should begin charging.
Assumption. Loads are taken from the load terminals and the smiley face says everything is good.

Thanks mcgivor, I was hoping that was the case but wanted to make sure. Many thanks :)

Is the controller a MPPT or PWM, if MPPT the input voltage may be too low to provide any meaningful charging. Just an afterthought.

According to the battery graphic the battery isn't much more than 1/2 full. Interesting... Also the arrows  are representing charging from the PV. No arrows, no charging.

@littleharbor2 thats how my mt 50 shows the battery as not full @12.7 . It only shows full when changing at 14+ volts??. Are you seeing the arrow that indicates charging? Because I can't.

What I'm saying is if there's no arrow flashing there's no charging.

12.7 is a nearly full battery without any loads or charging which is what your MT50 is showing.
The voltage and the battery graphic aren't in agreement.

Maybe a silly question, but is the van now parked in any sort of shade at the new campsite?

The battery graphic is not regarded as very accurate.like it will go from full to half in one go.
