Battery storage confusion

Okay, I'm quite new to solar power and love dealing with electricity, as well as pc/computer systems. so I was going to try and test a few things, I know how solar panels work, the converter/inverter and all the other gadgets to actually use one. one thing I'm not understanding is battery storage so i was looking to power a 1500 watt machine (ASIC to be exact, that runs on a 240v ac) while the sun is not out. so i was looking at the "Rolls Surrette S-1660 Flooded Battery 1284Ah 2V" where the amps/watts would be fine. one thing i do not understand about this is that it says "2v" does that mean ill have to have 120 of these batteries to power a single 240v ac plug? or am im missing a conversion between dc to the ac plug

You put together a DC battery based system, using of either 12v, 24v or 48v. Most likely 48v for you.

That would mean 24 of the 2v batteries to make a 48v DC system. The inverter changes the DC to AC

There’s more to it than this. The experts here will guide you through.

The inverter will convert the 48V DC, into 240VAC (if you buy a 240VAC inverter instead of a 120VAC )
