Watt meter help

Does anybody else have one of these in use. I have 3 of them that have been kicking around for a while. They don't have any instructions and all the overseas venders are of no help. There are a red and black wires for line and load and a small port. I have seen these pictured in a discussion here in the past. Seems the port would accept a modular plug wired to a shunt maybe, but they aren't sold with any such modular plug nor instructions.

Found this youtube, it appears to have a 100 amp shunt built in.

You can read about a similar meter here:

If it is similar to others, it is not rated for 100 AMPs continuous.

I would suggest that most of these types of devices are way over spec'ed... 100 Amps for a second? Probably closer to 15-20 amps max continuous (from the typical wiring size).

I made the connection between CC, (source) and Battery (load) trying to measure charging of my battery and the unit wouldn't even light up. Maybe this is a bad unit.
At least I have found out the port is for aux. power when measuring small voltage sources.
