Does anyone have any pictures of these modules showing the blemishes?
I have a client who is interested, but wants to see a picture.

Re: Evergreen Blemished Modules
Yikes - that doesn't look like a "blemish". It looks like one entire cell is missing, not a color variation. Maybe other cells from a 220w panel are high enough that it puts out 200W.

Re: Evergreen Blemished Modules
Mike,
The cell is there, its just off color ... the ones I have has some waveyness in a couple of the cells screen printed pickup traces.
Evergreen are just about the best panels now on the planet, maybe the "B" and Sun versions wouldn'y cut it for framed artwork, but for power production there is no better bang for the buck -

Thank you very much. -
Re: Evergreen Blemished Modules
Solar Guppy - did you mention at one time, or do you know, of PV panels that have a better "off-angle" output ? When bolted to a roof, they can only be aligned for 15 min or so, and the rest of the day, they are "mis-aligned" I figure, what I loose at peak, would be made up in gains the rest of the day.Powerfab top of pole PV mount | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

Re: Evergreen Blemished Modules
Mike,
Mono's are slightly better ... but IMHO nothing beats the Suns or "B" grade Evergreens. Whatever some fancy Sanyo HIT Bi or SunPower Black or Solar World or BP mono have in same efficiency can't match the 50% better price per watt these Evergreens have
They have 205 Watts for 2.50 watt ... do the math and you will have your answer -
Re: Evergreen Blemished Modules
oops, looks like an Evergreen cell, I should have looked more closely, however, it looks like a module made with reject Evergreen cells, I believe. That means it was not an Evergreen B (blemished) Module, I think. -

Solar World are about the same price as Kyocera and Evergreens.
