Need place to buy LED 12VDC bulbs from

Is there a nationwide chain in canada that would sell 12vdc led bulbs that compare to 13W CFL 12VDC bulbs (what i'm using now) ? I'd like to go to pick them up locally.. like home depot (i doubt they have that there).. get the idea? if any of you know a place let me know.. if i would have to mail order it would have to be in canada, but i prefer local.. thanks

    You might take a look at the Candle Power Forums (several of us also post over there too). They have A LOT OF INFORMATION over there on LED's and various suppliers too (look in the "Marketplace" for seller information).

    Based in the US--but a lot of people post from all over the world there.

    Warning to Canadians about buying mail-order from the states:
    Most places ship via UPS, and Ugly Brown is infamous for ripping you off on cross-border fees.
    So check the shipping method/costs very carefully before you buy.

    in a 2 pin base led light bulb is each pin + and - ? so i check which is which and connect to any 2 pin socket like halogen style sockets? or where can i find a socket cheap for dc usage (2 pin always)

    Could look at LED fog lamps from a auto parts store.
