    I prefer the Trimetric line more - specific to Photovoltaic needs

    do you think they might be trying to ride the coat tails of our space agency by making some think our nasa made it?
    adding that i don't think i'd have called it a bm-1. can you picture bm-2?:cry::p

    Perhaps I missed something, but it appears to be a nominal 12 V only device. If so, it's not much use for 24 V or 48 V systems...

    Looks to be a very simple battery monitor (from the manual)... I think, if you can swing the Trimetric, Xantrex, or the Pentametric, you will have a much more functional unit.

    Find the manuals for each of the major units and read through them and see what will work best for you (the better units have a battery temperature sensor, and other battery factors to tweak to match your battery's performance over time, temperature, voltage and current).
