Hooking up 2 MX-60's

Aloha, I have two PV banks of 1400 total watts each so I needed to go to 2 MX-60's.
I installed them in parallel ....is this OK? The one thing is that when both panels do sweeps at different times, one may find "less clouds" and put out more wattage than the other.
Is it ok for one PVbank to put out different wattages than the other? Will one MX-60 "confuse the other"?

As long as you installed each MX60 and its pv array as a seperate unit connected commonly at the batteries only, then they will operate as seperate units, independant of each other, and they will charge the battery bank as seperate units.
So to be clear, I'm saying that you should have 1 pv array of 1400 watts going to 1 MX60 and then to the batteries, and then the other 1400 watt array wired to your second MX60 and then to the batteries. If you did it that way it should work fine. And of course its OK if both MX60 are wired to the same battery bank.

One good thing about using the 2 mx-60's are that even though at the end of the day both end up with about the same KWH produced. But all during the day one is running at a higher wattage than the other and they trade off. The fan has yet to come on.
BTW. been off this board for the lst 2 days....been downgrading my 'puter from Vista crap to xp...almost all the drivers are found!!.

yeah... I have been at it for two days off and on. every legit XP disc I have has errors on it, (old Scratched). And the one I actually bot that was an upgrade from W2K is blocked by MS in getting SP2. Oh Well back to the MX-60's.

Go to the heise security site (there is english there)
http://www.heise-online.co.uk/security/Do-it-yourself-Service-Pack--/features/80682
DIY Service Pack Win2k, XP & Vista
Installing Windows updates without an internet connection
read thru the entire article, at the end of chapter 4 is a link to the project files:
Download: You will always find the latest version of Offline Update on the Project page
http://www.heise.de/ct/projekte/offlineupdate/download_uk.shtml
where you can locate the latest version of the scripts/batch files. They even have a windows graphical interface.
Do this only from a computer with firewalls, you don't want to connect an unpatched computer to the net, else you will get infected faster than you can install the security patches. Then take the updater CD to the virgin computer and install from that.
