Homegrid Battery compatibility with XW+6848 and InHome Gateway?

I’m running in to issues with installing the Homegrid batteries.  In order for the InHome Gateway to communicate with the Homegrid batteries the Gateway firmware must be updated to v1.18.  The XW+ 6848 does not get along with v1.18.

Wondering if anyone has found a workaround for this issue?

Thanks in advance for any suggested solutions!

I’ve learned from Schneider that the XW+ will not support closed loop operations with an external BMS.  At this point it looks like I am stuck with using the Homegrid batteries in an open loop configuration.

Pretty common problem these days. Schnieder has a list of support for closed loop. Discover is seamless.

Hopefully you can get Soc directly from the Homegrid BMS?

Hi Dave, yes I can get SOC, but will probably go with voltage parameters for setting AGS triggers.

Yes you will have to use voltage. Just be conservative or the BMS may shut down power.

My gateway today decided to flake out.  I can ping it without any issue.  But it will not respond to the webpage.  It will not respond to modbus access.  I have changed the assigned IP in the router so the DHCP pulls a different IP.  Push button Resets of 3,6,9,12 seconds in the end don't fix anything.  I have not seen a factory reset yet, no matter how long I hold the button.  Lights on unit play games.
Does the LAN ping respond in the LAN chip itself ?  I see blinking LAN lights too.
