Off Grid Generac

I have an off grid cabin with a Generac 7kw Model 43893 trying to power the cabin. I don’t have the inside transfer switch. The generator will start but not supply power to the panel. I’m thinking there should be a jumper I should be able to use to get the generator to supply power? I have a solar panel connected to the generator battery to keep it charged, which appears to be working fine. Any tips, tricks or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Yeah, without the transfer switch, the generator might not be feeding power. Some models need a jumper to bypass that setup. Check your manual or wiring diagram and make sure the breaker on the generator isn’t off. You’re on the right track, bro!
