Can the Schneider Electric Conext MPPT Disconnect RS (Rapid Shutoff) be used as a Combiner Box?

I've looked at other Combiner boxes like the Midnite Solar MNPV6 Disco (Disconnect) Combiner Box, but keeping all my equipment somewhat the same brand can I use a Conext MPPT Disconnect RS as a Combiner box?

Dave, Yeah it will be inspected, but the ground-mounted system will not require that type of shutoff. Currently, only roof-mounted systems will need multiple shutoffs. I was figuring why not just as long I can have it within a combiner box. I really like the Midnite Solar MNPV6 Disco, but was wondering about the Scheinder MPPt RS. After looking thru the description and manual I wasn't convinced that it was able to be a combiner. Just wondering.

If it is inspected you need to use it as it is designed. Using a listed device that is modified could cause inspection issues. You should drop me an email.
