Failure analysis of a large Li Ion based energy storage system. Dendrite growth, shorted cell (larger pouch based), thermal runaway caused multiple cells to fail, flammable gasses built up in building, firefighters opened doors, and explosion occurred (numerous firefighters injured, one still not fully recovered???).

    That is what LG said....... They deny that their batteries were the cause in Bill's post.

     They may not have been the fuse, they definitely were the bomb. IMO.
