Problem with Xantrex Inverter/Charger

My Xantrex inverter/charger has stopped picking up any charge from my Honda HX 4000 generator. Always worked before. Have serviced generator. Any suggestions as to possible cause.

    I'd start by measuring generator AC output voltage and frequency.  If possible, I'd also check inverter transfer switch operation using a different generator or AC source.
    Off-grid.

    Some starting suggestions:
    • Get a Kill-a-Watt meter or Digital Mulimeter and measure the line voltage (~208 to 264 VAC nominally 220-230 VAC, 50 +/- 5 Hz) (guessing Spain?). If the generator frequency or voltage is out of range, the inverter-charger will not "connect".

    And there are volt meters with frequency measurement capability (below are AC+DC Current Clamp DMMs... They make current measurements very safe and easy):

    If the genset is not within range, and you cannot easily adjust, try putting on a 100 Watt light bulb or small electric heater (any stable load) and see if this stabilizes the output voltage for connection.

    More than that, probably need to know the exact Xantrex inverter-charger model.
