hi all we are running air lift pump for our water supply .we runn a gas compressor for air supply.
want to convert to solar. need help

    That's not going to be easy, air compressors are not a efficient piece of gear.  You may need to consider a different type of pump for your application.  Be sure to size it properly for your lift, pressure and flow rate, if you overdo it , the system will consume extra energy.   Ask for a 3 wire pump and controller, they are "easier starting" than a 2 wire pump.

    Welcome to the forum Lengado4,

    Can you tell us a bit more about your power needs (Watts, Watt*hours per day, voltage, AC or DC)...  Where the system is (nearest large city, for hours of sun per day)? Need battery backup power (battery bank)?

    What about replacing with a "solar friendly" in well pump of some sort (these are pumps that are lower power, can run from AC inverter, or even a solar array directly)?
