charge controller and mate3

The meter bar for the charge controller doesn't appear on the home screen although it is hooked up. 
I have rebooted the charge controller and the mate3, but can't get it to come on.
Any help with this?

    Check the port it connected to per install  info . Maybe  check you have set the pv size on the mate . 
    2225 wattts pv . Outback 2kw  fxr pure sine inverter . fm80 charge controller . Mate 3. victron battery monitor . 24 volts  in 2 volt Shoto lead carbon extreme batterys. off grid  holiday home
