I was given 12. S12V370NGF They were part of a mandatory change out.
My question is do these batteries have any type of Solar applications? Looking thru google I wasn’t able to find a whole lot of info from people using them for solar
Thanks

All I could find:

Design life in years (25°C / 77°F): 8 years (Sprinter S) and 10 years (Sprinter NG)

I can not find anything about cycle life--But they appear to be designed for UPS/Standby/Float applications. I don't think these are intended for deep cycle applications (one note said to recharge immediately after discharge).
I believe these will have poor life if installed in an off grid solar application.
However, if you are still interested, contact the mfg/supplier directly and verify/get the additional information. I am not a battery expert by any means.

They only list a float voltage, so my sense is not for cycle use.Powerfab top of pole PV mount | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

They do list a maximum charging voltage of 2.40 volts per cell after discharge (14.4 volts for a 12 volt bank). Perfectly normal for an AGM battery of standard construction. But everything else says float service. Nothing about deep cycle or cycle life.BillNear San Francisco California: 3.5kWatt Grid Tied Solar power system+small backup genset

Yea. I knew it was to good to be true. We actually grabbed 40 of them

There is a class of Telecom battery that can last decades by shallow cycling...If you can only discharge by 15% to 25% maximum depth of discharge, they may have a good long life.BillNear San Francisco California: 3.5kWatt Grid Tied Solar power system+small backup genset
