Air flow/ overheating issue

I recently installed a 30 amp The Kid mppt charge controller,a breaker box, and a 600 watt inverter into a small box, it sits at eye level, the box is painted a dark brown, it has been getting to hot in there, I installed a couple 2 " louvers, I do plan on painting the box white, I keep the door ajar to keep it cool. I was thinking about installing a fan, would it be best to put in a temperature sensor as well or a timer? If someone has had this problem I would be curious how they solved it,besides leaving the door ajar.

    The first thing that occurs to me is a large-ish heat sink. Basically a piece of metal with a large surface area moving heat from a source to a sink.
    Off-grid.

    The Kid comes with installation instructions and requirements for ventilation. It dissipates heat and must be cooled

    Inverters are the same, they produce even more heat and need airflow.
