How to charge batteries with two charge controllers using AC and solar?

Hi there,
I am very new to solar power but my boss has put me in place to design and set up solar power for our work to power . I am supposed to make a system that can charge the batteries from AC if the solar power is not producing energy. The only problem is I can only use the parts from an old system we inherited from a client. This system looks like it must have had two seperate systems connected with a generator at one point. There are two charge controllers an Outback flexmax 60 and a Solar boost 3024i. Is it possible to use bothe controllers to charge the batteries? one to charge with solar and the other to charge with utility when the solar is down?

No, both the Flexmax 60 (FM60) and the Solar Boast3024i are NOT designed to charge from AC. You would need a stand alone AC charger like those made by Iota.

Home system 4000 watt (Evergreen) array standing, with 2 Midnite Classic Lites, Midnite E-panel, Magnum MS4024, Prosine 1800(now backup) and Exeltech 1100(former backup...lol), 660 ah 24v Forklift battery(now 10 years old). Off grid for 20 years (if I include 8 months on a bicycle).
- Assorted other systems, pieces and to many panels in the closet to not do more projects. -
I think @Photowhit meant both designed to charge from Dc (solar), not AC (grid).Off-grid.
Main daytime system ~4kw panels into 2xMNClassic150 370ah 48v bank 2xOutback 3548 inverter 120v + 240v autotransformer
Night system ~1kw panels into 1xMNClassic150 700ah 12v bank morningstar 300w inverter -
