I see the shovel on the upper right. Were you tired after you dug this?
Looks pretty firesafe in the lower 3/4 of the picture :):)

Dave, that was a reference stake with the orange tape. The shovels came out with the adjustments needed for the basement door before the concrete laying...
Being a newbee on the backhoe I took about ~ a month to get 'to the bottom of things', also had to move the dirt ~ 100 yds away for temp storage. No Swamper available, at least on that could look thru the level eye piece... :(
That material circles the whole place for ~10 feet, mostly fine sand...

We are lucky as that sand has just the right amount ( very little) of clay to hold soil moisture, yet allowing H2O penetration and not compact when walked on.

Has anyone in the states been using the xw with the lg yet, apart from Dave? I keep ringing lg here { australia} but for some reason they will not warranty the battery in an off grid application here yet.

    Hi,
Sorry if I am resurrecting an old thread but my searches so far have only led me to this forum. I've read this entire thread.
I have a SE XW+ 8548 and am trying to get more info on the Conext bridge, specifically what makes of Lion batteries it is compatible with but still cant find the compatibility matrix mentioned in the 2 page bridge pdf. or what Lion's I can use without the bridge for that matter.

My lead acids are end of life and I'm looking to replace with Lion, just want to make sure they are all verified so the install is safe.

    Thanks in advance

This is a discontinued project by LG Chem. Schneider electric has moved on to a much better solution with the Gateway. There are several solutions I use for my clients. Schneider provides RS485 and canbus inputs into the gateway to allow battery manufacturers to use their BMS to close loop charge and get battery state of charge out to Schneider power system monitors. These are called Insight local and cloud. Here is a link. You are welcome to contact me below. It has been an interesting ride back in time when this was very new for everyone.
