Solar Energy International (SEI) has a good online program. They have everything from PV101 to grid intertie and battery based courses all the way through NABCEP certification.

I took about 5 courses a number of years ago. I was very pleased with the whole program. I don't remember now what the pricing was .It should be in the online site.

For @softdown (and a few others here): SEI is actually in Paonia, Colorado. I've driven right by their facility while driving through the mountains. McClure Pass has what I would suspect is the best fall color display outside of the NE US, and takes you right by SEI. I remember looking them up, and I think they have lots of in-person training as well. If you don't have to pay airline tickets to get there, I would guess that in-person would be much better than on-line.

The textbook you need to buy is another $125.00.  I'm sure the cost has risen since I took courses.
