About sunswitch in Solar water pumping

What is the exact meaning of sunswitch? I have a project in which the owner told us to use sunswitch to reduce the pressure in pump. We are using kirloskar pump of capacity 15 KW and a controller. Can this pump controller featured with sunswitch property or we have to install it separately. If so then can how we install it and suggestion of any brand of sunswitch is highly appreciated.

    A sun switch is a device which measures the sun's intensity which is used to prevent a pump from operating outside it's power requirements, thereby not pumping. The switch  is placed at the array and is adjustable to only allow the pump to operate when there is sufficient watts per square meter are available. Attached pdf is an example and provides wiring examples, hope this helps.

    Second system 1890W  3 × 300W No name brand poly, 3×330 Sunsolar Poly panels, Morningstar TS 60 PWM controller, no name 2000W inverter 400Ah LFP 24V nominal battery with Daly BMS, used for water pumping and day time air conditioning.  
    5Kw Yanmar clone single cylinder air cooled diesel generator for rare emergency charging and welding.

    Without information in the form of a manual with schematics, it's difficult to say, but some sort of logic input to the controller would be the best method due to limitations of the contact of the sun switch.
