We are trying to make a display for our school and would like to include a solar panel to keep the lights running. The lights are a 12V LED multicolour strip. We might also want to have power for a couple of small devices. I have no clue what to do or where to start. Can anyone please direct me to some basic setup instructions (including needed supplies) for this type of project?

    First, Welcome.

What is the power rating of the LED strip light ?     12V 300mA ?  120V

How long does the LED need to stay on ?  Daytime only?  4 hours in evening ? All night ?
