midnite classic for charging and tristar-45 for diversion; is it possible?

hello,

just trying to get some input on this.  I want to use the tristar controller for diversion of excess power from my RE system but i want to use midnite classic CC's to regulate the battery charging.   Can this be done simultaneously?

I am planning on running a Hybrid system with wind & solar connected to 2 midnite classic CC's.

The Master Classic 150SL CC will be running 3.8KW of PV and Aux 2 will be used for Whiz Bang Jr battery monitoring. (48V aquion battery)

the second Classic 200 CC will be connected to wind (not sure what turbine/VAWT to go with yet) and paralleled to the same 48V battery bank as the master controller

The question is can i connect the tristar 45 to the battery (which would also be connected to both Classic CC's and my Inverter) and the diversion load (water heater) to use the excess power that the wind/PV produces?

I know that I can use the Aux 2 functions off the Classics to do this type of diversion/waste not/opportunity load conrolling, but, both of the classic Aux 2 ports will be in use; 1 for Whiz bang Jr., and the other for the wind clipper so not able to use Aux 2 off the classics and trying to find a solution to this and still be able to use all the excess power from the RE system.

thanks in advance.
