Charging NiFe Batteries with Grid Tied SMA SunnyBoy & Sunny Island?

Hi,
I finally got ever thing wired and hooked up. I have a grid tied SMA sunnyboy 3000TL-US-22, sunny island 6048, midnite solar E-panel, a midnite solar Autoformer. and NiFe Batteries that came fully discharged. I had a licensed solar electrician wire everything up.
With everything turned on the sunny island shows a W755 error (Battery-preservation mode 1 - LoBatMod1). Seems the SI is some kind of standby mode for charging the batteries. Does anyone know how to work around this issue? I believe if I can get the batteries charging the SI will function normally for the charging of the batteries but I need to get the batteries charged. I am not sure if I use an external battery charger what to use?
Any ideas?

Partially charge batteries in 12v blocks wiith an auto charger? Is there a way to disable low battery cutoff? Ran into this once with Outback and could only change cutoff voltage not disable :-(Off-grid.

The Sunny Island won't charge unless it reads greater than 41v on the bank. Right now the SI is detecting 34 volts.
Would a charger like this (below) do for a partial charge (doing twelve 1.2volt batteries at a time)? The the battery bank is a 200 Ah capacity.Schumacher SpeedCharge 15 Amp Automotive and Marine Battery Charger

You are going to have problems with a NiFe bank unless you carefully select and re-program your gear. NiFe has a very wide Full-Empty range, larger than most gear allows.

Yes that is the sort of charger I was thinking of. You would need to check vendor specs for recommended charging voltage versus charger output and figure out number of cells accordingly. Eg. if charger puts out 15v and batteries want 1.5v per cell you charge 10 cells at a time.Off-grid.
