PS600 Controller

I have installed a PS600 controller:
Voltage input is 76 VDC
Amperage running the pump is 2.4A
Wire from Controller to Pump is 12 gauge and it is 60 long
The ambient temperature in 90 to 100 degrees F
The controller operated in the AM but it auto-stops around 11AM restarts in late afternoon.
Is there a ambient thermal protection built into the PSD600?
Are there special controllers build to tropical environments?

    If it's in the sun, you could add a shield for shade.
