xantrex AGS problems...

i just helped a friend install an Xantrex AGS at my home...Baldor generator...Xantrex Xw hybred inverter, believe model 6040...the AGS worked great for a month...gen type 8...automatic on mode setting...why won't the AGS kick on any longer automatically.....?....am off grid....if i put mode on manual start the generator starts right up...when i take it off manual start, and put it back on auto it will not turn on by itself/automatically...any ideas...?...

    Something changed, either broke, someone adjusted a setpoint.

    Also check voltages everywhere in the system (battery bank, leads where they connect to AGS, etc.).

    As Mike asks, something broken (lightning strike in the area, somebody tripped over a wire)?

    Can you read the various voltages in the software/display (are you getting the right numbers from sensors)?

    What other components are in the system ?
    XW6848 inverter with 2 X mppt 60 150 CC , with Canadian solar 260Watt panels 2 x 3.5 kw array
