Schneider XW 6048 Auto Start Triggers
Hello.
I live off grid and use a XW 6048 inverter. I am unable to set the automatic generator start triggers to start the generator for anything other than the 30 second voltage trigger. I want to use all four, 30 second, 15 minute, 2 hour, and 24 hour. From the manual I see that the generator start has to be set to Manual Off, to change these settings, but it is still not working. The generator only triggers at the 30 second. I have had the batteries below the other set voltages, and the time has passed without the generator starting.
Can anyone help me? I must be missing something.
Thank you.

Put the AGS into standby mode when changing those settings. Try and reboot it also see if that helps after doign changes. Any other devices on the xanbus network? I had an issue losing data and it was the a loose terminator.

I have put it into standby mode to make the changes, and still no luck. I also restored all the defaults on the AGS and inverter, and still does not work. I have talked to Schneider and they are going to send me an upgrade to my firmware. Hopefully that will do it. I will post if it works.

A couple years back I had a XW6048 that was responding strangely to menu selections.
I finally took it down and rebooted which seemed to straighten it out.
They have something like 30,000 ufd capacitor storage so it takes several minutes for them to drain down.
You can short the caps out if you are in a hurry.
If you don't like the bang short them through a heater element or something.
