Can anybody with knowledge of the ComBox please assist? I have installed my system with a SW4024, MPPT60 150 and a ComBox. But for the life of me I simply cannot get the time zone to move from Pacific Time. Not with the SCP or via the PC and router alone or as a logged in setup. The function that get the correct time from the server makes no difference whether it's enabled or not. Pick any zone but it end up on Pacific.

Could it be that the time can only be changed if the inverter is in standby mode?

No, the time zone can easily be changed in the version of the firmware I have, via the PC over wireless router.
Get to the "gear" shaped icon on the top (after you log in with your browser) and that gets to the combox settings screen,
Set the timezone first with the drop down menu
I set my PC to the correct time via NTP, and then use the button to copy the PC time to the combox

NOTE.  This is powerful stuff, and read all the Manuals/App Notes before trying any of the Script or Firmware tools

; "> You can also choose to use the network time for your system. If enabled, network
time (SNTP) will override the Conext ComBox Time setting at the next SNTP
polling update. See “Using Network Time”.
The default setting has SNTP network time enabled (SNTP state is On).
To change the Conext ComBox time and/or date:
    1. In the menu bar, click the arrow to the left of ComBox Configuration to
    expand the menu.
    2. The Configuration menu appears. Click in the menu bar.
    3. Under Conext ComBox settings, click Time and Zone.
    4. Click to display the current time.
    5. To change the Date/Time, enter it in the same format as shown
(YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS) and click Set Time.

Note: This date/time setting overrides settings on other devices in the system.
    6. To set the Time Zone, select from the drop-down list and click Set Time Zone.
    ----
    Using Network Time SNTP
You can choose to use the network time for your Conext ComBox system.

Note: If you enable this option, it will replace any manual settings you set
under Time and Zone at the next update according to the SNTP poll setting

The combox home page currently lives here:
    http://solar.schneider-electric.com/product/conext-combox/
scroll down and you can get the manuals, and firmware.
You can also from there, go to the pages for the SCP and inverter and get current firmware, and use the
combox USB port to upload the firmware to the devices,  The inverter WILL reset, go into standby and need a reboot AS the firmware is updated, and all the settings will need to be reset.

There is a combox script on the Schneider download page, that lets you copy the settings and restore them from the combox. before and after the firmware update.   Called COPY SETTINGS SCRIPT

     excerpt:

"> The copy_settings application will replicate XanbusTM device settings from one
ComBox to another using only a USB memory stick. The application works by
importing a settings file (settings.dat) from the USB memory stick and then exporting
the settings from that file to all of the devices on the ComBox’s Xanbus network. If
the settings file (settings.dat) does not exist, a new settings file (settings.dat) will be
created on the USB memory stick from the Xanbus device settings.
