Magnum Automatic Generator Start

Can the Magnum ME-ags be used with a 48 volt battery bank system for backup generator starting? All I have read from the owners manual is 24 volts maximum.

yes it can its just that they just built there firs 48 volt unit so they havent redone all the literature -

That is great news!!
Another question, the operator manual on page 8, figure 4 shows a Gen Hour meter connecting to pin 2 on the controller. If the genset does NOT have an hour meter, does this connection have to be made to operate correctly or do I need to put an hour meter on my Genset?
